Brutto

Founded in A Coruña in 2020 by Venetian-born artist Marco Oggian and Galician designer Samuel Canay, Brutto named itself ugly and has spent every year since making that a terrible lie. The shop is where the studio thinks out loud for itself: archival giclée prints, each one embossed with the studio's own "Trust only us" stamp, alongside collectibe objects and textiles produced in deliberately democratic editions. Bold geometry, vivid colour and a slightly sarcastic view of the world. Art for your wall, or next to your shampoo bottles if you prefer.
