Hoogeland

Rooted in the south of the Netherlands since 1770, Hoogeland began as a church candle maker in the Age of Enlightenment and has spent the centuries since refining exactly what a candle can be. Each piece is handcrafted entirely without palm oil, with cotton wicks and hand-poured wax tuned for an even, lasting burn. The design language is Baroque and Rococo by way of Dutch modernism: sculptural, considered and quietly subversive. True luxury burns slowly.
