Otelier

Founded by Yvonne Hung, a San Francisco-raised designer trained across Stanford, Harvard GSD, the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, Otelier left Silicon Valley behind for the workshops of Kyoto. The studio partners with Japanese craft manufacturers to build design-led objects and experiences rooted in heritage techniques and local materials, from hand fans to washi and handmade tawashi brushes.
