1988 Austin Mini Mayfair
Hosted by Drouot
By the 1960s, the Mini had stopped being just a car and had become shorthand for cool, cultured, forward-thinking Britain. Twiggy drove one. Madonna drove one. So did the Beatles. Sir Alec Issigonis designed this beauty in 1959 to answer a fuel crisis, and somehow it ended up defining an entire decade of British style.
This 1988 Mayfair carries that DNA, with velour seats, a tachometer, and rare automatic transition. Please note it has rolled over a few bumps and crossed many landscapes, so it may need a little love to bring it back to its shiny self.
