Hedwig Bollhagen is simply one of our favourite ceramicists of all time. She fell in love with ceramics at a farmers' market as a young girl, hung out with the Bauhaus crowd, and worked in her workshop in Brandenburg for almost seven decades.

HB embossed mark and 1x brush mark, from 1934. model nos. 591, 560, 1065, 1115 A. Mold design: Hedwig BOLLHAGEN (1907-2001), execution: HB workshops.
Earthenware, glazed light green and engobed black with incised cross strokes and striped decoration. H max. 22.5 cm, L 16 cm.
1 teapot with lid and tall bamboo handle, 1 cream jug, 2 mugs, 2 bowls. The teapot with chipped glaze on the rim and eyelets.
