Cherng Side Table
Sold by Rumbá Bor
Rumba Bor found a forgotten injection mould for an everyday stool and saw an opportunity to experiment with recycled plastic. That's how the Choei stools were born, each carrying a bit of antique Chinese detailing.
The same mould, reinterpreted, now makes the Cherng side table, which pairs two different kinds of Thai manufacturing waste into one. Incomplete Choei stool heads and repurposed dead-stock ceramic balusters, a nostalgic fixture of Roman-influenced Thai railings with a local twist of vibrant colours. Two scraps that shouldn't belong together, somehow looking like they always did.
