A dream reversible wool coat by Kansai Yamamoto, from the Autumn–Winter 1981–82 collection.

Knitted in bold, theatrical patterns, one side unfolding into a Commedia del Arte-inspired harlequin of fractured colour, the other into tighter rhomboid repeats, shifting the rhythm while holding the same intensity.
