Sanyo ROBO-02 Alarm Clock

A talking clock with a robot soul, the Sanyo ROBO-02 is a compact cube-shaped alarm clock with a playful, toy-like design. Its multicolour panels can be unscrewed and rearranged in any order, turning the object into a tiny piece of modular design.

Instead of showing the time on a display, the ROBO-02 speaks it out loud when the large circular button on top is pressed. The alarm is set by turning the dial on the front, giving the whole object a wonderfully hands-on, sensory feel.
