An icon from a time when IKEA was inviting the likes of Verner Panton in and letting things get a little wild. Constructed from flat panels cut and assembled into a strict geometry, the structure is wrapped in blocks of delicious colour, each surface holding its own before locking into the whole.

Produced for a short time and in limited numbers, it captures a moment when experimentation slipped into everyday furniture, and stayed there. Take me back, now.
