Vertigo Artbook

The Vertigo artbook by French artist Julie Legrand gathers a series of ladder drawings into a restrained, methodical inventory. Each one is constructed with a ruler, repeating a single motif across shifting forms and proportions. Progressively catalogued, the ladders unfold as variations within a fixed structure, moving between order and accumulation.

Through repetition, the work traces the tension between control and perception, using the motif as a way to approach, and hold, the experience of vertigo.
