Founded in 2013 by Swiss-born graphic designer Marcel Baer, Octaevo is a Barcelona studio translating a deep Mediterranean obsession into exquisitely crafted objects. Inspired by his father's life at high sea and his mother's 1960s Super 8 footage, Baer's visual world spans waterproof hand-stitched paper vases, gold-fired ceramic trays depicting Apollo and the Nazar eye, and a celebrated collaboration with the brilliantly inventive Jaime Hayon.
